Melbourne
International Truck Centre has partnered with the Pirtek Rally Team as
it crosses the country to compete in the NEC Australian Rally
Championship.
The Pirtek Rally Team makes use of
an International 9200i Eagle prime mover to haul its 40-tonne race
transporter. Aboard the transporter is both of the team's Ford Fiesta
Super 2000 rally cars, as well as all the associated spares and
equipment.
Based in Dandenong South, just
around the corner from the Pirtek Rally Team, Melbourne International
Truck Centre is one of the country's leading sales and service centres
for International, UD and Iveco trucks and vans.
"Partnering with the Pirtek
Rally Team is an excellent way to showcase the International Eagle with
a professional motor sports organisation," said Paul Dinicol from
Melbourne International Truck Centre.

Driver of the #5 Pirtek Rally Team
Fiesta Darren Windus has been so impressed with the International Eagle
he purchased it directly from Melbourne International to join his fleet
of trucks in Perth.
"I have had the opportunity to
drive the race transporter and I have been very impressed with the
Eagle," said Windus.
"I have a transport fleet in Perth
and I know the importance of quality trucks. Time is money in the trucking
industry and adding the Eagle was an easy choice.
"The Eagle has first class
hauling capacity, plus the driver has all the creature comforts of a
luxury car!

The 2007 Edition 9200i Eagle Prime
mover has a Cummins Signature engine at 580-BHP. It has an Eaton
18-speed transmission with Meritor Drive axles on airbag suspension.
The Eagle is B-Double rated with ABS Brakes. International Range comes
with a sleeper cabin option for interstate haulage.
